-=The Age of Suffering=-

850-900 P.C. The Elves reveal knowledge of a prophecy of the second Cataclysm. The first Brotherhood of Righteousness is established to prepare for the coming evil. The Elves and Nexus race to find the scrolls detailing the prophecy. The skies darken and the weather grows frigid in Aabahran. The Minotaur begin to suspect the Elves' involvement with the cataclysm.

900-930 P.C. Many die to the famine and disease brought by the darkness, including the Duke and Duchess of Shasarazade. The Brotherhood of Righteousness dwindles into obscurity. Prince Zaar usurps his father and leads an invading Minotaur army against Shasarazade and Rheydin. The Minotaur army destroys Shasarazade but is defeated in Rheydin. They retreat to the Alpines and seal their home from outsiders.

930-960 P.C. Princess Orelinde resumes rule of the Elves and begins preparations to prevent the cataclysm. Several rifts spawn about Aabahran and Torments begin to ravage the lands. Malchaeius plots to take advantage of the rifts in order to release Sirant the Black. A second Brotherhood of the Righteousness forms to combat the threat. Marks of the Demon are sold to those wishing protection from the Torments. The marks are used to strengthen Malchaeius's power.

960-1000 P.C. Malchaeius uses the Orb of Yaegar and creates the Rift of Perdition. Aelleor, with the support of other heroes, uses the Orb of the Lunar Mistresses to destroy the rift. Anume and her followers betray Malchaeius and lend their combined powers to Aelleor. The Rift of Perdition is destroyed, preventing the coming of Sirant the Black. Warmth returns to Aabahran.

1000-1050 P.S.C. The Elven Kingdom is rebuilt and Princess Orelinde rises as Queen of the Elves. The Minotaur re-open their gates and reveal the new city of Minoma under King Mahn-Zaar.

-=The Threat of Lloth=-

1050-1100 P.S.C. Rumors spread that a group of Drow Priestesses plot to summon Lloth into Aabahran. Kaylia rises to power with the Syndicate. Kaylia uses Syndicate funds to build a Temple to Lloth and the Cycle. Princess Orelinde is abducted during a Race-Relations Conference.

1100-1150 P.S.C. Brehan announces custody of Orelinde and proceeds to openly auction her. Major banks throughout the empire are infiltrated and robbed. Logging machines appear within Haon Dor, Ellium Forest, and Emerald Forest. Yochlol appear north of Rheydin and Miruvhor. Drider spies are seen throughout the lands. Several attempts to rescue Princess Orelinde fail. The Warmasters fail a siege upon Xymerria.

1150-1185 P.S.C. With the help of several Drow priestesses and Ahmenes, Kaylia attempts to summon Lloth. Valkynsra and Morgael fail to disrupt the ritual. An unknown element is introduced to Kaylia's ritual and the summoning fails to facilitate Lloth's arrival. Instead, the Queen of Swords enters Aabahran and the mortals present join forces to destroy her.

1185-1197 P.S.C. Kaylia attempts a second summoning. Shyntril and Princess Orelinde are sacrificed in the ritual. Several others (including members of Watcher, Knight, Tribunal and Savant) attempt to disrupt the ritual. Once again, an unknown element is introduced and the summoning fails. The energies used consume and ravage Kaylia. A vampiric spider enters Aabahran and is slain by those present. The threat of Lloth is averted.
