Biology of the Nymph People

Nymphs have been around since the dawn of time. Typically they are a rather outgoing lot, and even seem to show little signs of mental inhibition. There are many rumors about why they exist however without concrete scientific evidence, such speculation is inconclusive at best. I have spent many long hours researching this incredibly beautiful race and have many findings that may aid people in their every day lives and interactions with the members of this race.

Physically they resemble very large faeries, with the exception that nymphs are far superior in physical dimensions. They have large transparent wings, generally four to six dependant on ancestry. In terms of body size nymphs are the same general size as human women, is perhaps on the average a bit shorter. Curiously, men are very rare among nymphs, and even their existence is nothing more than a rumor. As a result of the lack of witnesses if such men exist there is no base for comparison and no one to speak of what they look like. It can be speculated though that if the men are as good looking as the women, then there is good reason to keep them away from outsiders.

Mentally, nymphs and faeries have very few similarities. Though they are roughly the same in mental capacity, their specific attitudes and behavior patterns can hardly be considered the same or even compatible. Though both show great intelligence, it is directed in completely opposite directions. Faeries have a more curious and constructive mentality, in general they can use their mental prowess to solve problems and puzzles. Nymphs on the other hand are generally much more mischievous and manipulative. Often they use their intellect is the direction of catching the attention of men, again most likely because men are so rare in their society.

Most nymphs seem to have very little in the way of personal inhibition and this can lead to many different personality types. Many may not know that they are flirting or in some other way leading someone on. Such innocense will be maintained through out most of a nymphs life. Each nymph will live its life in this innocent bliss, often unaware of offensive actions, flirting, and other such behaviors. When dealing with the cute little women, please remember to take their actions with grain of salt.
