For an ageless war of principle, it was only a | | a matter of time that such a resurgence would occur, but all at | | once and with such power may award many victories in these early | | campaigns. | | | | )----------------------------------------------------------------( | | | | - Maelbrim On the Verge [Eril] | | ____ | | / \ verseeing Maelbrim today is a new Marshall, a loyal servant | | | | of the Tribune, training an entirely new retinue of young | | | | men and women to protect the Gray City in the final months | | \____/ of its reconstruction. There have been many labour pains, | | money disputes, deals, and compromises made during the | | construction of this city. Once fresh and recent contracts have | | gone to collect dust, waiting for a moment when perhaps they may | | have some validity. Recent Tribune upholders Xylth and Relik will | | no doubt play paramount roles in the security infrastructure of | | Maelbrim as it again becomes a place of trade, scrutiny, and love. | | This closeness to completion has no doubt been the cause of unique | | Noble sightings, such as Azergoth the Blue Dragon and Ramahli. | | Meanwhile, raids have become less frequent and there is a general | | comfort growing in the hearts of Maelbrim's faithful live-ins. | | I trust their patience will not go unrewarded. | | | | )----------------------------------------------------------------( | | | | - A World Academy [Eril] | | | | /\ long my journies, I meet more than a tidy sum of guild | | / \ servants. Guilds are strict about their self-practice | | /____\ doctrines, but every once and a while individuals like | | / \ Egrucarius or Ilontin stroll by with a clear desire to | | teach others more than they teach themselves. As far as | | fulfilment is concerned, I have never experienced this kind of | | magnanimous behavior backfire in my own career, and I am certain | | it will not for them. Any time prophetic voices are sounded, I | | always think back to Damnil who was persecuted for his attempts to | | edify those around him. When you dissect any prophetic message, | | generosity is almost always the primary motive for its delivery. | |____________________________________________________________________| |Chief Editor: Historian Eril | The Library accepts any articles of | |any artistic merit.
