CAPITOL OF WORLD BREAKING OUT OF CACOON, [Spring 1934]
_ _
| |\ /| aelbrim is outfitting itself like Rheydin never could. The |
| | V | natives of the city at the center of the world have spawned |
| | | a brand new dynasty of entrepreneurs, culturists, soldiers, |
| | | tacticians, teachers, and architects. It has taken many |
years since the reconstruction efforts began, and the people
made one mistake: they assumed they were rebuilding Rheydin, even
when their leaders told them otherwise.

Now they know. They know that Rheydin will never return. We have
something better. The Marshall, Belderon and The Juggernaut,
Karishin Jores, have initiated a plan to give the protective
responsibility of the great city of Maelbrim back to its natives.
The current militia conscripts are due their retirement, as a good
deal of them hail from a buffet of other locations. After all,
Rheydin had no one to supply.

The recruitment will take time and a great deal of propaganda!
I mean effort, of course. If you are a citizen of Maelbrim, be
you Guilded or not, prepare for an inspiring time as your home
carves itself a more legible and unique signature upon its
mountain.

)----------------------------------------------------------------(

NECROMANCER MASTERS HIDING NEWLY FOUND MAGIC, [Summer 1936]
_ _
| |\ | ecromancers have always been highly secretive, given their |
| | \ | somewhat taboo practice of playing footsie with dead bodies, |
| | \| or having a predisposition of often looking like land squids |
| | | that invade your dreams and read your thoughts. In recent |
times, however, they have become far more bold about showing
off their titles, which can only prove one thing: they have made
discoveries that they must test openly.

This surge of popularity is bound to create a severe internal
power tussle as their over-staffed ranks struggle and rival for
privacy, gear, and no doubt bodies (although there really isn't a
shortage of corpses) as they seek to please the mad conjurers that
have opened their eyes to these new secrets.

While some budding mages may wish to invest in the Necro-Guild and
support it, it is worth it to ask exactly how long this large blob
of scattered individuals can actually coexist with their own
competing agendas stumbling one another.

While a formal statement has not been acquired from one of these
fresh guild zealots, it is only a matter of time before they begin
to really come out of the mire.
