NARUTHIRON - VAL MIRAN - MUREE - DEMONS [1962PC]
_ _
| |\ | aruthiron has passed. The eye witness, Azarek, has made a |
| | \ | clear statement to the Chronicles that a great battle took |
| | \ | place between one named Cydare and the Queen of the Demon- |
| | \| web Pits herself, Lloth, over the life of Naruthiron. It |
was during the bout in which Naruthiron was executed. Now,
it is difficult for the Chronicles to disseminate this as news
without more witnesses to vouch Azarek's authenticity; if the
Herald investigators were not certain of Azarek's truthfulness,
such an article would never leave the press -- while the servants
of Lloth may rejoice over such a victory, it heralds great woe
towards the layman, the simple, for soon many torturers may be
rulers and captains of the civilizations of Aabahran. The Crown
guard, Knight, is now under the responsibility of this mysterious
Cydare, who Azarek described as an intimidating elf with horrid
scars on his mouth. Cydare had also failed to save one known as
Osirin, but Azarek could not make a concrete comment on this
individual. More from the Castle, soon -- Regent Kimril has been
swarmed with duty against a bolder force of demons.

In related news, a power-struggle between the Empire Tribune and
the Castle over Val Miran has grown hot, as Belderon and the
councilman Raynald Blade have sought to rid the city of the forces
within which still bend the knee to the Knights. The Regent and
the rest of the Knights, in the wake of the loss of Naruthiron,
have responded negatively and refuse to decommission the armies
stationed in the ancient city-bastion of Val Miran, claiming that
the Empire alone will never be enough to defend the innocent. The
Drkshtyre road has seen very little collaboration outside of board
room talks and inter-cabal missives as well, and confidence in the
Empire has begun to dwindle as once-frequented banking ventures
have been cut off to stop the spreading influence of the Family.

With Lloth's recent victories in the geopolitical spectrum, it is
no mystery as to the appearance of powerful demons in the realms
such as Terrokant and one known as Vrai, of the Narysvalkexi.
These rift-born creatures are roaming with great determination,
soon to cast chaotic twists in the plans of both politician and
brute laborer alike. Vrai, indeed, is of the cosmic plane, and
the void between the stars is just as chaotic as the burning hell
so many of us fear. Hints of madness abound in the likeness of
one Giacomo & Momo as well, whose curse of the Jester hints of a
familiar psychotic force, Volgathras, itching the surface of our
reality once again. Such a force yields from a time before all
modern news editorials you now know ever existed.

                                          Continued in Part II
