|         Forces most supreme surround the city once known           |
|       as the jewel of the forests. Val Miran's eastern gate        |
|      will fall to the feral soldiers that lay seige to it. No      |
|       help will be arriving from the west as an army of rat        |
|        men lay an equally impressive seige to its gate. It         |
|         seems only a matter of time until the two forces           |
|        breach the outer walls and assail the city streets          |
|                            and shops.                              |
|                                                                    |
|         The Knights seek to offer Hope to the people with          |
|      little to do but flee the city. While Tribunal officers       |
|          have been seen there have been no signs of large          |
|          troop movements coming from the Empire. Citizens          |
|         speculate that the taxes they pay should afford a          |
|         large Imperial Army to protect them from threats           |
|       such as these. No official word from the Tribunal as         |
|          to the nature or location of defending troops.            |
|                                                                    |
|         In the east the Elemental Armies continue to mount         |
|           assault against the Warlord Camps that seek to           |
|         surround them. Knight forces who had recently been         |
|          pushing their way through the Forest of Banor may         |
|         find they soon have to chooce between two seperate         |
|        battlefields, the streets of Val Miran, or the road to      |
|                             Maelbrim.                              |
