The Last Adage of Ghadryn

The following was written by Ghadryn Ceyden directly before he died. I found it so beautiful and profound that to not publish it for eternal reference would be a crime against every gorgeous thing.

Upon my deathbed I write this note. It will be my final teachings and I hope those of you who have sought understanding will find it useful in your quest for the truth, the plain and beautiful truth of life. Try for yourself to truely understand what is said hence forth, and may Gaia always stay true in your heart.

Each of you has understood Her - created Her, the Mother, the Essence of life, Gaia, in your own way. To some of you She can be a man. To some of you She is a woman. To some of you She is both. To some, She is neither. To some of you She is pure energy. To some, the ultimate feeling which you call love. And some of you have no idea what She is. You simply know that She is all empowering. And so it is.

She is the wind which rusles your hair. She is the sun which warms your body. She is the rain which dances on your face. She is the smell of flowers in the air, and She is the air which carries the fragrence.

She is the begining of your first thought. She is the end of your last. She is the idea which sparked your most brilliant moment. She is the glory of its fulfillment and She is the feeling which fueled the most loving things you ever did. She is the part of you which yearns for that feeling again and again.

Whatever works for you, Whatver makes it happen - whatever ritual, ceremony, demonstration, meditation, thought, song, word or action it takes for you to 'reconnect' with Gaia, the Mother, YOUR Mother, The ultimate giver of life - do this. Through this is the only path to true enlightenment, to knowing not only what is, but what has been and what should be. Open yourselves to the possibilities and above all else, embrace one another for you are all of the same seed, only your perceptions create the differences between you.
