The Truth in Lies
Odes and Expressions · by Academician Grebit Caveswallow
Where one wondered, Deep in his heart, Does the lie begin? Would it be sundered, From very start, When truth starts to bend?
What is thy truth? Whence forth It came? Can any mortal know? Avoiding the sleuth, It seems a shame, Deceit will always grow.
Quench thy thirst, In soothing words, At least ye for a time. Be ye the first, Second or thirds, To hear the poets rhyme.
Fear not the lie, Nor any deceit, And in thyself place trust. For when you try, to seek lies defeat, You will find beguile a must.
So now you know, A cyclical thing, Truth always will remain. Wont fade nor grow, Its just a ring, That spins for mortals pain.
