Fateful Lesson
Odes and Expressions · by Academician Grebit Caveswallow
I keep on meeting strangers
Who warn me of the dangers Before it becomes to late To alters our deadly fate But fate can not be changed Or ever truly rearranged We either make it or we die The only failure not to try
We just sail Aabahrans waves
Within our own conclaves Hold true to our conviction Living life without restriction We abandon weakened faith That brings fear of the wraith we battle to our last breath we march slowly to our death
Will we achieve our dreams? Only the bravest so it seems. Mourn your dying brother Put one foot before the other As the pyre their bodies scorch Its up to you to lift the torch Stare danger down with icy glare Show the spirits that you dont care
Show them courage and resolve
Fear could never quite dissolve March strongly toward your goal Lady Fate leads you on the stroll Either reaching destinys abode Or dying somewhere along the road We all one day reach the end But conviction needs not bend
Let me fall with my eyes forward
See me keep on moving toward A goal that I may never reach This is the lesson that I teach Will I find roads end one day or will I fall along the way? In truth it would not matter Fate both former and the latter.
