Karishin-Warlords History II

Tales and Stories · by Herald Xanthis Ignifirum

A notable event of this time included the Fall of Morlhach, and subsequently Thulgan Resh'hall, towit I was incredibly disappointed. Thulgan was, after all, one of the most powerful warriors in the world at the time, and I wanted a chance to be the one who bested him (while he was still mortal). Literally the ink was not dry on our declaration of war that a rivalry of the Gods led directly to Morlhach's power being usurped. Attempting to save himself, he managed to possess the body of Thulgan and a glorious battle began. Half the Realm's guilds men took arms against the new monster, including all four of the Warmaster Generals at the time. It was Nurrog who managed to finish the battle and strike down the Morl-Gan, becoming known as The Fist of a Slain God, a grand honor to the Camp.

Great battles ensued during the period of the War of the Four Armies. A rivalry opened between Regent Kimril and myself, but such was later answered remedied with time and respect. And it was in these days I managed to distinguish myself and slowly managed to progress into an elders role. One particularly fond memoirs was charging a group of five Knights, newly returned from The Lands of Gear, and sending them scattering all around Maelbrim. Though none fell, I believe there were several soiled britches at the surprise and savagery of my assault! Not to say that the Knights were not powerful and dedicated warriors in their own right. We had many a grand battle that I am proud to have fought in, and against such strong foes.

It is important to note that though there were many problems

between the Castle and Camp in the days of the alliance, the War was not a response to these growing actions, but rather was part of the larger decision to war with all factions with standing armies.
