APPENDED LAW: Disrespect of a Tribune
Though it is the right of all citizens to disagree or dislike the law, it is required that every citizen abide by it. When a citizen openly conducts an overt act of disrespect to a member of the TRIBUNAL, that citizen shall be guilty of Disrespect of a Tribune, and be marked a criminal for such.
This law shall serve to stop any such blatant shows of disrespect to a TRIBUNE such as: name calling, spitting in their presence, vomiting on them, defecating on them, or any form of physical disrespect such as, but not limited to, tackling, slapping, or kicking.
Note: This crime is not strictly limited to the above mentioned acts. ANY form of disrespect is covered under the preview of this law.
When faced with marking a person for this crime, a TRIBUNE must offer a single warning to the subject. If the subject continues to show disrespect, or quickly leaves the vicinity, a warrant may be issued for the apprehension of the subject. As soon as possible, the TRIBUNE must send a scroll to both the perpetrator and the TRIBUNAL in general, detailing the nature of the crime.
Once apprehended, the TRIBUNE may issue any punishment up to the severest bail possible, but such should be reserved for multiple offenders only. The standard punishment for this crime shall be a bail of ten thousand gold, payable to the TRIBUNAL. A TRIBUNE can NEVER execute a person solely for this crime.
If there is concern regarding an issued warrant, that concern should be directed to the TRIBUNAL COUNCIL for hearing and consideration.
This law shall only be in enforced so long as Councilor Elarus serves within the Tribunal as per page 5 of the Tribunal Maxim.
