Oppressant Law II
[Law on Civility]
[Court Martial]
Any citizen should have the complete right to address problems with the TRIBUNAL and ensure that fair practice takes place. However, the Empire is an extremely occupied and busy entity, in motion at any one time. As such a condition requires a valuable use of time, citizens should take care as to how they address their problems. If a simple GAT form is used and approved by the highest ranking mortal authority -or Immortal authority if you don't trust the highest ranking mortal- then all will proceed as normal. If a GAT is rejected on any grounds, it will be deemed an insufficient and hindersome use of TRIBUNAL time and is punishable by normal jail time. The offender can be marked for their carelessly whimsical attempt to manipulate the TRIBUNAL. This is considered a petty crime, and is only to be judged and marked by an Elder or Leader of TRIBUNAL.
[Court Martial Extended]
As the aforementioned time of the TRIBUNAL is valuable, non GAT form complaints sent as notes to the TRIBUNAL will also be viewed as an immediate disruption and possible propaganda proposing rebellion. Conspiracy will not be tolerated and is a severe crime. This stipulation will also be judged and the perpetrator marked by an Elder or Leader of TRIBUNAL.
[Court Martial Civility Policy]
Let these arrangements not discourage citizens from attempting to keep fair and civil attitude when requesting a court martial. Any Tribune who is nonviolently assaulted, physically, verbally, or by means of scribe may issue a petty warrant for the offender. Physical and verbal threats consist of, but aren't limited to spitting, slapping, bonking, growling, or threats of death or conspiracy to remove one from office. Any removal from office will occur regardless of such a threat if necessary. If a case arises where the constraints of the disrespect are ambiguous, it is likely a note will be sent within the Tribunal and the criminal may be marked on his next public viewing by an Elder or Leader of the TRIBUNAL. Abuse of this policy by Tribunes will not be tolerated, and will be handled internally.
This law will cease effect when Lord Oppressant leaves office.
