Topic Forward for Heralds

Current Tribunal Statutes · by Historian Eril

In accordance with the Document Reform and Legibility Project, this forward is a formal guideline for future Heralds and Historians to either re-write or base Law-centric publications around.

Tribunal Council men and women change rapidly over the years, and Tribunal law changes with economic tides, with the behavior of the Tribunal's foes, etcetera. The Great Library is a place for any formal document, which includes the leaflets of Maxim diction, however temporary their enforceable natures may be. In accordance with the Legibility Project, however, the "Removed Laws & Systems [22]" topic of documents is to be stocked by non-current laws, even if they are copies of newly posted laws. The Council men and women's names are an important element in understanding the experiential relevance of the posted laws, and current laws should be easily located by anyone who needs to see them.

All laws [tomes] in this section are to be considered "in effect" as long as the Tribunes' names which are attached to them are currently enforcing them (meaning: if the Tribunes have passed out of service, and their names are part of a tome in this topic, it is to be assumed the tome in question belongs in topic 22, "Removed Laws & Systems" and should be moved there if access can be gotten).

This tome is not an element of Tribunal Law, nor is it enforceable inside the Great Library; it is primarily a record of the document reform of this time, and for the sake of practicality, a tool to assist with organization. So long as this forward exists, the topic also exists and allows the easy transition of law publications from their initial placement here to the twenty-second topic when they become obsolete.
