| As the Library \ / begins to grow once |

| Church's sect in \ | _ | / effect we will require |
| squires to protect | | | | | our beloved scholars. |
| The obligations to < | | | > each Guardian are as |
| strict as they are / | I--+--I | \ necessary. You will be |
| required to follow / | | | \ a written set of rules |
| without question < | | | > or malice. We must |
| uphold the vision ) | - | ( of both the Church and |
| the Library as one. \ \ / / Each new Scholar will |
| be assigned his or < \______/ > her own Guardian. You |
| will be required to \ / protect your assignment |
| with your life if so ^\ /^ deemed necessary. Should |
| you find multiple V------V scholars without guards it |
| will fall unto the Head Guardian to hold his or her shield |
| over all of them until a new Guardian can be trained. You |
| are hereby deemed to respect your Scholar's wishes and aid |
| in his affirmation of knowledge and thereby not to obscure |
| his political relationships by biased judgments. You will |
| only take life where it shall otherwise have been taken from |
| a Guardian his or her Scholar. There will be no personal |
| vendettas in the name of religion or beliefs as deemed this |
| day by the Church and its ancient order of Guardians. Let |
