the hope that I would one day see my son and wife drove me. Three days ago, a change came over my body, and I knew what was beginning to take hold. I grew lethargic, my skin had dried and paled, and I became a danger to those around me. By my request, I was sealed into my palace chambers, awaiting the sickness to completely overcome me.

I do not have much time left. I can feel the hunger growing. Aeron Magdeline, if either of you read this, know that I love you both and that there is no afterlife that can change that. I long for your touch my beautiful wife and I am overcome with sadness that I will not be able to watch my son grow. Light! Protect us all!
