Similar to the legendary exp bonus of the holidays, I suggest we give double exp all the time. Grinding isn't what it used to be. Let's bring this game into the 21st century. Less time getting exp is more time training, more time rping, and more time interacting with the world outside of the numbers game.

Actually, lets just permanently implement the "adv self" command, then I will be able to roll whatever power combo I want in no time

There are several muds which have weekly dbl exp bonuses.
I think dbl exp would increase pinns, increase rares, increase interactions. After the first dbl exp the pinn range EXPLODED. I have a level 19 char with 6 hours on him. His entire life I have had 1 hunting group. I am really excited about the character, i just cannot get a group to save my life. and when my TNL is 5k, doing medium/hard quests for 5-700 exp is just mind numbing.

I concur. Why let you all run to fifty to delete, double exp is awesome don't get me wrong. But it will be abused by the deleters. Now, I completely support the concept od one or two double exp nights per week, as you could use this as an advertising ploy to draw in new talent. But "all the time?", promotes the kind of players we need less of. I.E. "I am tired of everyone trying to Pk me so I am deleting", "No one wants to go along with my I am the king of the world RP so I am deleting", ect.

And yes, I would like to see less time spent TRYING to rank these days. I can't stand spending one hour to gain one rank running all over the place doing quests when a group would do it faster (if I could find one), everyone's always complaining there's no 50's (you still would have to train and people may be more inclined to train at 50), and, well, let's be honest. The great thing about graphical games is the instant gratification.

I agree though. Weekly double experience would be sweet. It gets tough to find groups.
Why dont we just get rid of delete, and make it so you have to apply for deletion... That would get rid of everyone rage deleting.
I will rage delete if I want to rage delete, screw applying for that ****. I haven't applied for anything since my last crusader, seems way too difficult these days. (See Klemkins post)
