When I was trying to get a spot in a crowded nexus on my shaman, Anume thought it was funny to put myself against an invoker to fight for the spot.
I won.
Invokers arent the end all of shamans most think them to be.

I realize that shamans should beat invokers 90% of the time, I just think of those days as some of the most fun I have had in game. A drow, and an outcast drider both declaring war on Tribunal? Leading our other despair members into war to watch them die off/delete/shelf cause we got tired of waiting for nexus lol
And if I recall I blew up a fair bit of your armor in that challenge.
Actually, I'd go as far to say that shaman is the invoker bane.
I'm going to stand by my view that invokers are perhaps the best mob killers in the game, balancing efficiency, safety, and ease of play. Probably the easiest class to play, except for maybe rangers.
The only thing an invoker really has to worry about is a quick and smart attrition melee, a particularly well-timed energy drain, or a shaman.

How long ago? Push no longer lags the victim more than the ninja I believe.
Having tried that fairly recently, the tactic didn't work for me.
If you will recall, Jibber, that situation involved two ninjas - one of which walked into your firestorm and pushed you toward the other.
Oh I forgot -- it takes two ninjas to kill an invoker!

Sandbox: Not everywhere is or should be easy or even possible with a single character. If you remember a few weeks back the IMMs started tightening up on areas people can solo easily?
