Some of us aren't used to playing goods, so how about we get some kind of a warning when we are about to engage a good mob? I just killed a mob and it turned out it was good...

You will get used to it. It's worse if you are a Invocker.
And then you have to count with those pesty sappling summoners.
Neutral Group mates that kill good mobs...
But don't worry being good also has some perks.

Yes, it takes some getting used to but I think you'll get the hang of it.

Yea, evils that summon saplings are one of the most annoying things as a goodie with area spells. On the bright side though, there is a nice potion to drink while damned
