A creative idea for all

I am trying to sharpen my writing skills in an effort to prepare for my first attempt at a novel. So I was wanting to gather interesting PK logs, logs that change hands a few times back and forth til one person is finally the victor. The reason is I want to translate them from the typical combat round into a fantasy setting. Describing the battles blow by blow. Making them more novel, less round by round. If anyone is interested please submit the logs via PM to me. You will recieve a draft before hand, and It would be posted in the short story section after IMM approval.

*All names, malforms, cabal items, armor, Mprogs, Wprogs, Oprogs will all be changed to keep with the current PK log standards.

Interesting, I will search for logs that go by this criteria. I even have two in my mind but they are shaman logs, so VERY long battles.

I have a question, are you looking for some exact battle between class types i.e. does it have to be a mele vs mele fight and are you interested in attrition logs? Also do we have to edit the logs before we send them?

Any pk logs will suffice, and they can be unedited, I know all item/cabal abilities anyway, as well as most qrace abilities (having played, or fought them all to great extent) the best logs are going to be entertaining ones. Like Maerothir vs Grizmaw, or Bathai vs Ilendriel as those fights where close, and entertaining to read. So of course the more action the better!-

I have a bunch of logs with Masokant, although they aren't particularly long, but a few of them are close and involve somewhat running around

I also have a longer log of Nortak vs 3 guys in Rheydin, if you are interested.

Nortak was a blast,I was his biggest fan

You will go mad. Fights with come backs are insanely long.

I have fought for hours (literaly) before achieving a kill, or losing.

Even an half hour fight will drain your mind like a bad soap opera.

Start with a short brutal but close log. I recommend that one with the Zerk and Cleric. If you can manage to make a short story out of that one, you will gain lots of experience that will aid you to tackle a big one.

Start small then evolve.

Zerks are always fun for stories because everyone loves the way the suddenly change PK scale.

Heh... glad you enjoyed it. You're welcome to use it if you want, and if you do I'd love to read it... story-wise, it was a fairly cordial duel, no real animosity between the two characters even though Bathai was evil.
