It'd be nice to have some type of code that recorded the number of defeats of one class by another. You could seperate it by say day, week, month, year, and all time.
Cleave This
How many fights in fl are logged and posted? Obviously there is a ton of fighting going on all day but yet we see maybe 1 new pk log every few days maybe.
That's Balinor, you'll have to excuse him.

Now this is a man of vision.
balinor edit's and post's the pk threads you're saying? So alot of people are submitting them and they're just not getting posted?
Monks pwn zerks. Flat out. Unless the zerk is nicely armed that is. Also the monk needs to know what they are doing. Someone who does not know the skill set is of course going to get mangled.
My zerk will fight your monk anywhere, anytime - and win. Giant zerks particulary give a good kicking to monks.
Dragon has been talked about - but reduced defenses and the possibility of slam pretty much means the zerk will tear you to pieces. The ONLY chance here is to sweat on a phantom dragon and hope you can finish the zerk. This isn't reliable enough to constantly beat a zerk.
Dual axes will overcome horse stance. Not to mention that is a LONG LONG battle and haymaker will relieve the monk of their stance opening the chance of a fast slam victory. A giant zerk chooses physical axes here so all reversed shots are further reduced via physical resistance. This alone means the zerk will on damage output - something that is bad since a zerk has a HP advantage as well.
Zerks mightn't have a lot going for them, but they have the fact they can kill off monks on their side.

I'm sorry, Lay-About, but no smart monk will die to any Zerk. Then again, no smart Zerk will die to any monk, either. So it goes both ways. I wish I could challenge you on that little speech though ![]()
Me, you, flag-pole, Zerk/Monk style! ![]()
How funny would it be if there was a flag-pole room...maybe near the Academy? Or a bike rack room...or a parking lot behind the vocation building. I think I got into too many fights in high school...
I think the arena needs re-instated. That would also give newbs a safe place to practice refining their PK.
But maybe put a fountain of beer in it.

Yeah, cause beer improves your fighting performance ![]()
Tank Abbott says yea.
It doesn't hinder it with a certain perk.

Are you sure on Haymaker dispeling a Monk stance ?
I know you can dispel magic a blademaster stance but not a monk's.
And since Haymaker appears to be a sort of Dispel....
haymaker can drop monk stance.
nm somehow i hit reply and it ended up in the wrong thread...odd

Edit: You can dispel a blademaster's stance (ie mage spell). You cannot dispel a monks stance. You can haymaker both.
Haymaker drops both skill and spell, along with timers.
Getting haymakerd can be a good thing at times.

As can walking into an antimagic trap. Still, wouldn't recommend either.
