Just throwing this out there.. why not make it so that ninjas can envenom arrows? Makes sense?

Not a bad idea actually. Would give some more power to to the lotus scourge choice.
A small tweak to make that particular ninjitsu more attractive. It makes perfect RP sense too.
My concern is that this would unbalance shadow arts ninjas.
Perhaps give it solely to lotus scourge ninjas?

And how about creating easily obtainable dart throwing thingies. They seem more realistic for ninjas to be use rather than bows.
Ninjas should get drop fired weapons and get a skill called dart throw, that throws a dart every round or two, like arrows, but they dont have to fill it up and couldnt shoot out of the room.
Hmm, maybe give it to all but Lotus Scourge has some type of a bonus?
The last thing in the world anyone wants is for a character like Zalozen to have poisoned arrows.

Haha yeah that's how it used to be until the arrow change. But shouldn't darts be allowed to be shot from rooms away? Its how ninjas are envisioned to use those dart thingies. But what if they could paralyze or sleep there opponents with it (the sleep effect being saved against from mental saves)? This could be a new ninjitsu altogether. Ofcourse if this skill were used outside of the room your opponent is in a sufficient amount of lag could be implemented to help balance it, we definitely don't need tracker ninjas doing what those rangers are able to do. This would give ninjas another avenue to attack opponents based on there mental saves, I see this further assisting them against giant melees that aren't fully prepared (in terms of eq). Problems I see with it is that they can constantly resort to this tactic on a mental saveless foe and get more gay study sessions on there opponents. The paralyze can help reduce the ownage giant melees/vamps/saders have over them.

Lotus scourge ninjitsu would only become more viable in comparison to shadowarts.
Envenom arrows? - I thought ninja could envenom their shurikens.... I really need to go test out scrouge again. A few unanswered questions from the last time I had the skill...

Yes, I understood that. I don't think ninja's need ranged ammo to poison. That's ranger only atm, correct? I think giving ninja's a ranged poison ability is a little over the top...
