thats why i only use it for classes like warrior or berserker, since typically, mana is not a problem for them.
Leveling perk
I've noticed lucky makes me gain less hp and mana.
Athletic, I haven't noticed any extra hit or dam but yea less mana.
I think that they all have a negative effect so most times I pick none.
usually I only do it for the favorite weapon choice(which should not be a detailed creation option)
the downsides for some really arent that bad
With the lack of groups nowadays, Adventurer perk gains more power.
Addict is almost worthless, with the sheer amount of drugs available. Who cares about withdrawal when I can walk to twelve herbs within twelve rooms? If they were limited to one or two dealers, however, addict gains more power.
heheh.. i almost want to try racing to pinn.. human cleric with the adventurer perk.
Only problem I had with athletic was it seemed to cut my mana in half.
Ilendriel had athletic, and as an elf paladin he had 1000ish mana... so I noticed no problem.
Thats not very much.
for elf caster, it is low. For pally it is gold. Maerothir had around that I think.
Edit: Maerothir did not even have 900, I train lamed ![]()
I had about 900-950 with Pamiyn (don't recall the perk but not athletic) and about the same with an earlier Elf Paladin, Caesharin, that had athletic.
Dey
Mmmm...maybe the mana gain per rank is curved ![]()

Back at Halloween madness a did a few experiments with the HP perk.
Made 5 drow clerics with it.
Then made 5 drow clerics without it.
I found out that the clerics without the perk end up with more HP at 50.
Then I made 5 with unlucky perk. They had around 50 HP more than those without perk.
Keep in mind that perks are just that, perks. Expecting to see a massive difference in your stats because of your perk would be a misleading approach.
I never noticed any HP reduction with Lucky perk.
"They had around 50 HP more than those without perk."
Probably effect is just that +1 hp at level up.... hum that makes it 49 hp.
it doesnt say anything about one, so why should you?
all it says is you are a little luckier
