I think it would be great if Healer's could cure those afflicted by the "unlife affect" Maybe, just maybe, make Healers the only mortals able to remove a hex as well...
Healers don't really need much else...but I don't see how offering them these abilities would overpower them...in fact...I see improved rp and pk from it. Shamans frustrated at that Healer able to undue all his curses and hexes...
"That Special Someone" upset that their minion was restored to the living...
shrug...just some ideas...
I might be wrong, never played a healer, but I think healers are able to heal that already?
Paladins can do something to Hex.
If by do something you mean override it via other skills, then yeah pallys can.
Esuna doesn't work on that.
I never knew esuna to remove a hex or unlife...
No it's not a +Luck thing.
It's another less used Paladin Skills.
Unlife is super easy to cure...
not everyone plays a druid.
Lol its not a druid spell nub.
The cure to unlife is easy

No troubles at ALL
I don't think Esuna can remove the Unlife affect or hex.
But I do have a question. can't paladins remove the unlife effect? It least that is what I was told when I first started to play here.
At onset a Paladin or a healer can do it. Esuna doesn't do it. That's all I think I can say.
Aulian is right though... super easy to cure.
There is also a way to prevent it, and circumnavigate it.
You know...ever since I played here I always wondered....
Shouldnt healing a undead in any way or form by curative spells/communes hurt them?
Healing is essentially repairing flesh. Not offering goodness. It would just repair the flesh of an undead. They usually still have flesh, by most descriptions. It's just rotted and gross. I don't see why having it repaired would hurt.
Heal hurting the undead is from the Final Fantasy Series. Not FL.
Removing Hex and Unlife... Every other mally can be cured. Hex is at most a minor annoyance. Let's keep these relatively uncurable. It makes things more fun. Everyone running to a healer every 2 seconds is annoying.
D&D has it also.
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/cureLightWounds.htm
When laying your hand upon a living creature, you channel positive energy that cures 1d8 points of damage +1 point per caster level (maximum +5).
Since undead are powered by negative energy, this spell deals damage to them instead of curing their wounds. An undead creature can apply spell resistance, and can attempt a Will save to take half damage.
