Mandatory Description Change

I think that there should be a mandatory description change. I may be the only person who actually reads descriptions, but I think it would be awesome to have a timer or something that goes off whenever someone's character has reached a certain existence time. I mean people do age, you're not gonna be a petite baywatch hottie with a 95 year old Human. Just an idea, I like it.

I guess you haven't found the secret yet.

Eh?

Eh?

Moisturize.

Are you kidding ? Do you even know how much work, it is for some of us to make a description in the first place ?

"I mean people do age, you're not gonna be a petite baywatch hottie with a 95 year old Human."

You can circumvent this problem, by not writing about their age and doing a more ageless description.

Or by visiting the fountain of youth.

Many players are not a great fan of desc writing. So no to a mandatory desc change.

If YOU wish to change your desc, you are free to do so, however ask an Imm to look it over after you have changed it.

Every character I roll is pretty much already planned out and I knows which cabal he will be leaning towards.

soon as I join that cabal, I recreate the description and make him look more badass and give him like Knight or Warmaster Tabards and what not.

I can't roleplay or play a character, that in my mind... looks gay.... like gnomes... or halflings. (my presepective)

I'll rewrite a desc if I get qraced or something huge happens in an RP session that alters my appearance... but that's it.

I usually write two per character at least. Things can change... But I am against a mandatory change.

However, an anatomy based change would be cool. For example, I pk you, and if I choose I can put a scar on your face or your torso and it will show in the description as:

Look Ara

Ara is here. She is thinking about the framework. Ara is wearing a blouse

and some white pants. She has three eyes.

Ara has a deep scar on her arm from Mya's axe.

Heh, maybe mandatory was a strong word... But yeah, I definitely agree with changing it at life changing events in the character's life.

Maybe if it didn't say 'Mya's" axe

maybe if it said something along the lines of, a hefty scar has been left here obviously the results of a heavy weapon making contact here.

not mya... everyone knows he cannot pk for peanuts in taradue

Koviaem's description constantly changed. Something that none, or few, even noticed. It could have helped with determining his intentions, but meh. I did it only out of roleplay, and it just doesn't make sense for ahuman to look like he is fifteen at the age of 134.
