I think I may have figured out something that works to stop TDP Syndrome and the V-Strain ( I feel like the Umbrella Corporation).
I know a delpass doesn't stop me. I just change the delpass anyways to some gibberish and close Gmud.
BUT...
I've found that using an alias for the delete command to send myself a tell, which shows up as my characters name telling me, "Please, don't kill me! I want to live! Let me rest. I want to prove myself!" actually makes me feel guilty. And I didn't delete. I just logged off.
