Yes.
Remember, that hp/mana/move/exp bump is a Bonus. Lots of people chalk it up to being a given and that they've only done a good job if they get a dragon. That's not the case. And, remember, keep being a pain to the IMM telling you your desc isn't right and you might get hit with a - to hp/mana/move instead of nothing or the bonus.
