World Plot / Story line change.

Dude, I think that would be fun. Imagine, all the cabals are at peace. Aabahran has found it's age of peace once again.

What's our job as PKers? Destroy that peace. I think it would be sweet to ravage all the peaceful cabals, but thats just me. It would make for an awesome world plot.

So what if, all the Cabals DID come to an alliance and the world thought they were growing too strong in power and rose up against the powers of the Cabalies.

We could have a place for people who are not cabaled to take cabal standards and shut down their powers. example: Shrine of the Revolution.

People may or may not be interested in this idea, but I'll throw it out there.

It's a dandy idea, but you can't just force something like that to happen. It has to occur through RP.

And I don't know about you, but I don't see Triathix shaking any Knight hands any time soon.

what if, hm, maybe all the cabals except the knight and nexus ( since they are the axis of good and evil) aligned and nexus tried to make the cabals use their powers for evil, and knight tried to make them use their powers for good. Then you have the people who dont believe something so powerful should exhist, meh. Would be fun. NO WAY i forsee something like this being forced, i guess the cabal leaders could kind of slowly start drawing up alliances...

This was all in the defense of removing "hard-coded" vendettas that cannot be cancelled.

No matter the downside, the upside will be much cooler.

Sorry, the very essence of FL is about strife, and struggling. I could possibly see syndicate and trib coming to agreeable terms (on both sides) to prevent war. And even Warmaster and Savant. Nexus and Knight though? They are each others antithesis, there is not one single bit of common ground that they share, at all. Except ruthless defense of the factions they represent and their individual beliefs.

I could see a giant semi-alliance actually working out. But then the giant factions of each, would kinda collide into each other and probably cause border wars...maybe if it was held together by some governing council or something comprised of the cabal leaders. There would still be strife and struggle, but it would be less general and more RP driven. Would also create the possibilities of revolutionary type clans(would it be a ton like watcher? most likely, just play along for a second longer.). In theory their could even be the governed in the form of characters that happen to live in say Val Miran or Rheydin...which would actually wake up the royalty thing I think. Then kings, barons, whatev could have seats on the council...but all the while everyone is trying to secretly gain power over the other without being as drastic as to challenge the rest of the council...wow that was a pretty serious RP geek fest...I'm ashamed.

As of now, there are only Sigils in Knight.

It could fly from a RP standpoint, if Nexus faked death.
