ok, it doesnt make any sense to me that someone way under the lvl 50 pk range, at something around minimum cabal rank, can take standards and stuff. shouldnt you at least be combatable at enemy altars regardless of rank, or while you hold a standard yourself? =/

My problem with it is the free 20 hours below the pkill ceiling of the other cabals.

Or think of it as free CPs. Maybe getting the standard should give you exp as well that way it's not just a game of capture the flag it's a game of ranking as well if it helps the person out any.
Many options, but I would agree, someone out of your pk harassing the guardian and consistently calling you back to deal with it would be an useless annoyance.
If you don't want make that player risk their life to take another cabals standard (and they rightly should have to), then another option would be to add a second limitation to picking up a cabal standard: If you are not in PK range of someone currently online from that cabal, you cannot pick it up. This is an extension to the already existent rule.

it seriously makes no sense that a rank 35 char or whatever can screw with the guardian without any fear at all really. sure its a tough mob, but if the lowbie has another cabalmate on that IS 50 it can get really annoying. really.

There are some cabal powers that are not accessible at low ranks, so you might as well rank up.

Heh, yeah, was a joke. I know all too well what its like to have a frenzy of people waiting at 50 for you to get in their PK range and take a piece of you. I think there was literally a long line waiting to fight Venyacyr. Thankfully(?) that line got quite a bit shorter after 50.
Course, I didn't taunt them and interfere with their lives while leveling up. Mark the difference well.

ok, if your saying a cabal guard is dying do someone level 42 or even lower, I do not believe you. At all. And if you do lose your standard to someone out of pk range, guess what, you get to take it back faster. Yea WEEEEE.
Yeah. And you can attack theirs too, quicker. And once they enter your range they will -have- to defend their standard if they are in your PK range, rank disadvantage or no rank disadvantage.
