Please give us the option to lock our descriptions. The very simple function will save me from deleting my description by accident for the zenith time.

Yeah.........that should be the ONE feature we all want. I just deleted my dragon awarded description off my latest char. Have no back up........so.........
Yeah, this would be a life saver. I used to have an alias that was de * for defuse and any direction. Well I hit went to do it: de north and the next thing I know my description is set to north. I was pissed, but at least I logged and had my description, just took me a while to find it. This definitely would come in handy though.
Make the desc in a notepad or word with spelling corrector and save them.
I have all my past 3 years descs on a txt.
I have been mudding for years and I've never done it. Thats weird.
I've done it once or twice, but I do all my descs in notepad.
I hate saving them, cause then I get lazy and reuse them 
I have a lot of descriptions saved, I use word for them.

The only problem I've ever had was before my desc has been approved I've tried to type desc format and it came out as desc foramt and so changed my description to foramt.
That's what's happened to me.
Yeah. The only time I really do it is desc format... Thats annoying.
But like they said up there ^, I also do it in notepad.
I agree..standardize it all. Require the desc + and desc - to edit outside of the editor.
Allow the editor to work with notes, apps, etc too!
Happened to me a couple of times. Very embarrassing.
