I think they slow you down...heck though its a label of how much i play this blasted game...when i was in the dentist chair getting two fillings done i occupied myself by walking from val to xymerria on the surface then going back across in the underdark over and over...heh
Its hard to see the need for a map for a place like miruvhor, least for me, i tend to learn mud directions by feel...
