Piercing swords and backstab...

Does this make sense? I was wielding a piercing sword:

< 471/471hp 328/328m 356/357mv 5312tnl 12613g 2t> black w

You hit some cave weeds on the back of the head with a lead filled sack.

Some cave weeds goes to sleep.

< 471/471hp 328/328m 356/357mv 5312tnl 12613g 2t> back weed

You need to wield a piercing weapon to backstab.

< 471/471hp 328/328m 356/357mv 5312tnl 12613g 2t> throw weed

You throw your daggers and hit some cave weeds with one of them.

Your blow wounds some cave weeds gravely.

Some cave weeds steps out of the shadows.

Your throw decimates some cave weeds!

Some cave weeds has quite a few wounds.

471/471hp 328/328m 356/357mv 5312tnl 12613g 2t>

Your pierce wounds some cave weeds.

Your slash wounds some cave weeds.

Your pierce wounds some cave weeds.

Some cave weeds is DEAD!!

You receive 0 experience points.

Some cave weeds's arm is dismembered from its dead body.

swords dont backstab. You threw to initiate combat.

Just think of swords simply as being too long and unwieldy to use to stab, regardless of whether they are sharp, pointed, blunt, magical, or whatever.

Hehe, Raargant said blunt

Bobcat: the point was to show that I needed "a piercing weapon to backstab." The throw was irrelevant. I just wanted to initiate combat to show that I was wielding a "piercing" sword.

Raar: Yeah, you're right. I just thought it was an interesting point.

Daggers and spears are the common weapons used by thieves.

As opposed to spears, which are usually much longer and more unwieldy than swords. ^_~

Interesting POINT! HAH!

Raar: Yeah' date=' you're right. I just thought it was an interesting point.[/quote']
