I was just thinking that half-giants could be added as a new race. As with sliths, they would be slightly different based on alignment (coming either from storm, stone or fire giants).

Half-giants? Dear God, who would be able to breed with a giant besides another giant? o.o
That would have to be a serious fetish.

An enlarged battlemage. Who then has to stay enlarged for the term of pregnancy or die from internal bleeding.
Or the bmg can get the giant pregnant. Either way.
Well a male anything could impregnate a female giant. PG-13 so I wont go into specifics but yea, it could work. A male giant could impregnate something smaller under a few circumstances, but again I am not going to get into too many specifics. They just couldnt do it naturally unless the giant has reason to have serious insecurities.
Well...they could...but it would be VERY painful on the front end of the pregnancy and the back end.
So... instead of a stone giant, we'd have a stone sorta-big-but-not-that-much guy?
He, when I first saw this topic the thought of half giant/human didn't even cross my mind.... I was expecting something like half storm half fire giant. Or maybe giant with other large races. Imagine that, half-giant half-minotaur.
oh yeah. A storm giant with a minotaur's charge on water. What could be better?
Wouldn't a half-giant be a human? 
What kind of stats and special abilities were you thinking? Which classes? And the big question...what size..normal or large?
There's plenty of half-giants in many fantasy settings. I'm not sure about stats and all, I just got the idea after playing some Vanguard.
