Notes/scrolls

Any code required for this could be borrowed from the library's "print tome" concept. I love the idea.

I think you should still have the "note list" "note read" ect, but also have a hard copy. That would be really cool, and have like a "top secert, your eyes only" information rp.

I like this idea but I would also like to add to it.

Someone spoke about this making heralds useless? You write a note but you can't send it normally anymore. You have to use Herald services to be able to type note send. You go to a special scribe office and they deliver the message for you. Though members of their own cabal would have messengers for only others of their cabal, and could send it anywhere not having to be in a specific "office."

Also, note list works just fine but if you want another hard copy you have to go back to a scribe office and print it like the current library.

A whole mail system? Sounds like a huge undertaking, but I'd be all for it.

You could put it next to the Registry. Maybe charge people a certain amount per letter, unless they were Heralds. Mailmen walk around the regular cities, and if you happen to walk by one, they'll hand you you're note(s). Or you could get your stuff at post office-type things in any city.

Hmmm, this gave me another idea.

Which is to have more quests like the Temples ones.

Now that would be an inprovement.

Getting letter in registry and going to out of places to deliver notes.

You could even have fake letters to deliver to other players to make it more interesting.

Like you entered the registry (post/herald office) and ask fro a quest (hard,easy,normal) then you would have to find player/mob/cabal to deliver it.

Perhaps a counter could be placed on this making Certain cabals gain CP's from leters being delivered to them.
