The sleeping might be emote abuse but think of it this way... you can always pretend to be sleeping. Definately abusable but still makes sense.

Maybe to prevent such abuse, simple place an asterix(*) after the message to show that it's a position emote, I.E:
Wagesofsin is is here, picking his nose.*
WagesofSin is sleeping here.* <--- someone abusing the pose emote command
WagesofSin is sleeping here. <--- the real thing
Of course... people CAN pretend to sleep. It would be RP to do that.

Nope. If you are pretending to be sleeping, it should be emote pretends to fall asleep. Or, if you want to be sly, emote seems to fall asleep.
It's pure abuse and doesn't make sense either, for the simple reason that emotes are exactly what happens. If you emote falling asleep, you fall asleep; if you emote pretending to fall asleep or seeming to fall asleep, you seem to fall to sleep. Not mutually interchangeable.
The exception, of course, being catalepsy.
However, that is a skill, not an emote.
