um can we get a command to turn him off? it would be nice on a couple of levels. 1.) i never need him. most of the pbase doesnt need him now. and our chars wouldnt have to look stupid or have his statement code slow down our dial-up-or-even-less speed even more than it is (in my case.) and 2.) it's distracting for people who gutsily RP at town center.
just make the command towncrier or whatever.
