With the changes piling up, there are some class essays that are sorely outdated, while others could use minor adjustments. Maybe there are some pvp monsters willing to do some revisions onto the existing essays (the current ones are well written and clearly come from experienced players, and have good info.) OR in some revamped classes (necro for example) outdated completely.
I'd be more than willing to write the adventurer essay. Not to toot my own horn, but I've got a perfect pk record with adventurers.
Paladin and dk: need adjusted to reflect magic strike, harden defense for dk
Basic pk strategies: I think the skill level is so much higher than it was when this was written, most of this advice is now dangerous. Vials at 50 are suicidal for most classes now for example. I know I used this when I came back, and I think we can all agree I got pretty frustrated because you can't go to war in mm tainted eq and 2 vials anymore
@Tarako I think he is sarcastically giving the canned opposition responses to change requests (the joke being this one is abundantly clear, but still giving the flawed responses):
It hasn't been changed, so it doesn't need to be changed
Nobody has mentioned the problem, so there isn't a problem
You want something changed therefore we can't change it because you want it.
You can see people giving the exact same kind of indefensible responses in the other recent thread about WM inductees and just about any other change thread.
See guys? I do have a sense of humor. Maybe. It is still highly debated among my 'friends'.

I've officially reached the stage in life where my friends, that is the people I physically play games with, don't always invite me to their social events. Sure, I'm five (ok, maybe 10+) years older with a toddler, don't drink or do anything else fun, but come on! Limited space my foot! I remember the days when people begged me to their social events! At least my cats understand. sob sob sob
I'd be happy to give some tweaks to the shaman essay. I'm just worried that if we revamp some of the essays, it may attract new folks to play. I'm really just not that interested in overcrowding in the mud. (Am I doing it right.)

I have like...besides my wife and son, ONE friend. And the cats. So, @Celerity, from someone who used to be one of the most sought after Dungeon Masters in my area (probably not what some people would consider a real social event), I say to hell with everyone else.
Life just gets better when I get to laugh at all the haters.
EDIT: Not that I'm saying anyone is haters for not inviting me to anything anymore. It's just a certain type of snubbing that used to bother me.
