Bounty buyout

You're obviously not good enough to defend yourself from the Syndicate hence your post. To be clear - this is your problem. Not the rest of the playerbases. Not the IMMS. The problem is 100% you baby!!!!

To be fair, you really have three choices:

1. Harden up princess and learn to fight Synidcates so they leave you alone.

2. Take Chayesh's advice to Mr Tick/Warpnow and:

'Go and start a chat room somewhere so you don't have to deal with the challenge of staying alive.'

1. Keep dying and posting here how its unfair and how the game should be changed because you can't learn the most basic PK survival skills and myself and the rest of the forum members can keep laughing at your expense. Probably right before we log on and come and PK you.

Personally, I hope you take option 3).

I agree with Raargant. You're walking a fine line in your post. Try to keep the abrasiveness level between "abominably harsh" and "suicide-inducing".

I personally think its funny that anyone really has any issue with Syndi's. In my opinion they probably have the least amount of cabal skills designed to help them IN battle. It seems like almost every ability is designed to find their victim and keep them from getting away and on top of that the majority of those skills only work on people who have bounties already. IMO, maybe Syndi needs a tone up.

As it stands this won't happen, because it is already implemented for a small sect of the MUD. It's a priviledge for them, so not everyone will get it. Though it would be nice to buyout crappy bounties, or allow a Syndi to "veto" an unworthy bounty and act as if it was never collected. You would be unable to veto a Top10 bounty.

Naw, me and L-A have been cool for a while, him being abrasive is just L-A, I mean he is an aussie, and he laikes faightin!

Also as a side note, I have no fear of death or syndis, I usually enjoy good fights. Im not worried about losing gear, anyone who knows me knows i have re equipped enough to do it blind folded. Was just an idea I tossed up out of boredom really. Personally I never buyout bounties even when I can, keeps you on that "OMG IM ABOUT TO DIE" crack head typing speed that we can rarely achieve without illegal substances or the im about to die syndrome.

Like the idea, work on the addiciton to dope.

Seroiusly though, just tough it out man. When your elf pally or drow dk finally gets to lvl 50 it really is all worth the pain of getting through your last 7 ranks.

finding your enemy and preventing their escape is the tough part of pkill...the actualy fighitng well, they have to prove skill at that just to get in.

As far as bounty buyout, first off, not all cabals get the ability to do so. Secondly its not as nice as you would think, you can break a persons CP bank with gold if you so desire as they depseratly try to buyout the bounties placed. And lastly, learn to run...always be whereing even while hunting, and dont do semi-afk things...dont train post 40 unless you really have to or have already pinned. and Once you break 42 with most classes RANK RANK RANK.

I know its been said with rancor before, but i will say it again...used to be if you hit 42-44 you grit your teeth took several pk deaths and ranked your butt off. This ideal that killing people not pinned is bad taste is relativly new, and those of us who grew up in the....darker....era know the importance of staying aware.

The biggest and funnies thing i see is people pre pinn with nice rares...this in itself is enough to bring down the wrath of any pinn

Okay, I am I the only one that has never been pked by a pinn going from 42-50?

I've never made it to 50 without being attacked by a pinn on the way, bit it doesnt really bother me that much, and usually I do have a good rare or two, and there is a definite chance I pissed someone off on the way up so, I prolly had it comin

I've had chars make it to 50 without being attacked, but usually, it happens at least once, and often multiple times. You either learn to survive against the odds or keep dying.

i hate syndicates coming for my 10k gold bounty or my freakin' crystal spike bounty. i've had three syndicates, so i'm experienced enough to talk. anyway, a post like this is only going to come up when syndicates are doing well, so props to you, syndicates. i hate you.

Well not that I pinn a new char. every week. but I have had 3 recently... well two pinn and one at like 43 in the range of pinn and nothing.

I think that makes more sense, why wouldn't anybody be able to buy out bounties, the syndicate is a low down dirty mob like entity, it's not like they care where the money comes from so long as it comes.

Yes, it does make sense, but what if it makes the game crap?
