I am not sure that it works. I seem to haggle things at a much higher price with let it be known than when I haggle without it active. I dont know if anyone else has noticed this.
Let It Be Known
LET IT BE KNOWN
Syntax: sing 'Let it be known'
When a bard sings this song the words echo throughout the lands,
increasing the reputation of the bard. The name of the bard is so well known, there isn't a shopper in the realms that has not heard of the bards travels and expeditions. The increased reputation will increase the effectiveness of the bard's haggle on the shopkeeper.
If it says it helps I am sure it does. But haggle is pretty random at times anyway...
Well I have compared the numbers, and I can haggle things down from 50 to 8 but usually right between 35-40. When I sing, I am haggling things from 50 to 50 and usually 45 if i am lucky.
Maybe it works with rank...The higher ranked the bard the more renouned. If you are still below level 30 then maybe your accomplishments dont impress the shopkeepers and they charge you more...
im at 50
well, dunn what to tell you then.
No one likes bards?
I think it has to do with some mixed up coding in haggle, but I'm not entirely sure so I won't speculate too far into it.
