Now that KBS has merged with Syndicate, could they have a choice to either go trader, or bounty hunter? (along the same lines as Sigil/Praetorian, Mysterum/Temporum)
This would allow people that want to be like Korthian to show their cabal flags, as someone to ask about getting items, without being constantly hounded by Tribunal.
As for cabal skills/spells, maybe give them locate object, identify, and lore? Maybe even something new that has to do with finding and getting things from mobs?

started by Korthian, it's basically the TRADER idea finally off the ground. someone finally got around to playing a character that really had the drive to make an equipment gathering service work.

I don't like the idea of a split as much as I do a seperate organization altogether. I thought the merging was great for RP, where both KBS and Syndicate were still seperate and somewhat equal entities. I don't like the idea of trader or KBS becoming a subcabal of syndicate, because some traders may be honest bastards and shouldn't have to deal with tribunals.

While I feel Syndicate SHOULD have a drug trade, I don't think they should be hardcore merchants. I think Syndi's are more, i'll steal your armor and sell it back to you, or vice versa.
I think TRADER should be all by itself, like it was originally thought. But who needs another useless Herald cabal? Maybe make them a branch of Herald? Heralds need funds to pay the taxes for their library and have branched out! Lol.

well think of it like this trader is the upfront part of syndicate, like the italian restaurant for the mob. The police are always watching it since they know it is part of the mob.
