That's true.
From my observation, the code owns them.
The increased lag protection comes from Faerie thieves.
Someone was complayning that faeries thiefs when missed blackjack on giants where as good as dead, due to over bash.
So they argued that since they are flying the faeries should be harder to bash.
So viri acepted that and said he bonused up faeries so they could resist bash better.
What he forgot to tell us, was that he did the same for Avians.
That is why a Avian Paladin would be one of the best. Because the mounted bonus and the racial bonus stack.
There is another perk on this subject, but i personaly think we should not spoil the magic for others.

Either way, this stuff is the same as q information. You don't talk about specifics of the code. Even if it "was" released. Though I do agree that the people that have the code have an unfair advantage.
Though that won't make the crappy PKers much better 
I didn't say what Viri lied about.
Best way to find out is to try it and see.
