Pugil for paladins

I'm not suggesting paladins are gimped, or that they need new things. But how often does a paladin use a staff in a PK situation, or even a ranking situatuion, unless it's to master it.

More incentive to actually use a staff against DKs.

In my own thoughts, I believe paladins get staff so they can effectively defend against others with pugil, not really to use them in PK. Polearm is just as defensive, and more offensive.

Seconded

And also now with Harden Defense, why would anyone want to use a staff vs a Dark-knight?

Yup! Dual wielding whips against a level 10 malform is what I'm going to do!

Not just no, hell no.

That is all.

For me using my whips? Or Paladins getting pugil? I know your scared of me and my whips B.

Both.

Paladins and pugil - no. Combat clerics, not masters of weapons.

Forsaken with whips - kinky...............but....hell no.

Not just no, hell no.

That is all.

You need to go to finishing school for aspiring humorists. While your response was adequate in its comedic value, it lacked the dramatic pause necessary to make it truly worthwhile.

^ The king has spoken.

Dey

Down with pugil! RANGED WEAPONS FOR PALADINS!!!!

Not just no, hell no.

That is all.

Hah, that made me smile.

I hate pugil.

i like the idea of not giving paladins pugil. they really don't need anything.

i like the idea of dks now having a chance against staff-master-pugiling warriors (even though i pounded enough dks that way).

i don't like the idea that i can't have a squid cleric.

Master meditation of blades.
