I was playing around fighting a few different classes today and it got me thinking about one that I came up against. The good cleric and specifically ray of truth.
It is one of the few key spells of a class that can, at times, give off a random effect that may actually be very useful to the enemy. I don't know if I'm allowed to go into specifics so I won't, but I was wondering if perhaps the random effects of the spell might be looked at and some substitutions made, especially to make it a bit more on par with its already (generally) more damaging and useful effect-wise evil counterpart. I could be wrong, but its something I thought about while dancing with a good cleric today and their attack actually put me in a better position in the fight.
