I would propose making it part of a group of selectables. I.E., at 42 you could choose assassinate, dual parry, maybe one or two others. Thoughts?

Umm I dont think anything needs to be changed with ninjas... quite honestly they are one of the more deadly killers of this game.
If Tetsunai gets ahold of this thread.....you're all in some big, big trouble.
Ninjas are not for the unpatient-type player. Sure, you can make them melee-pounders, but do you want to miss the fun of assassinating someone who never knew you were even logged on? Or, better yet, knew you were on and you got 'em anyways?

That Knight leader ninja, forget his name, out meleed Loriss when he was elder and decked. Ninjas are fine in the right hands.
One also outmeleed my old demon warrior Nedrildan, caltraps ran in circles, my moves ran out and he pwned me 
yeah i did that along time ago with adauchi tenchi..thought it would be fun..got into watcher..man it sucked.
I tell you what though nothing beats getting in a good assasinate on some hard nosed character...
with the right tactics you can bring people down with assasinate in almost head on combat...its an awesome power and a ninja without it would be a ninja without the fearrrrrr
assasinate scares me :eek: thats why in addition to typing where and who pk all the time ill randomly cast an area affect spell if i have one just in case.
One of the selectable melee skills for a ninja was toned down a while back. It used to be incredibly nasty.
