Why is the lag on create food so long? It's not a combat spell, why doesn't it just have the usual one tick lag?
Lag on create food?
It has the same lag as most spells.
Create food has a longer lag...like 2 and a half times as long as a normal spell.
I often wondered that myself
It can get really annoying when you hungry and you make food and people keep on getting it while your lagged.
So leave the room.
Or tell them to stop.
Or make them stop...breathing.
Never really had a problem with create food. Make an Invoker, it wont ever bother you again for the most part.

That is a spell whose lag is worthy of complaint, not create food.
You should have to take some time out of your day to eat, so it makes sense to me. However, when I get hungry I just cast bless arms a few times, and ride up to Taco Bell and get back at about the time the lag wears off.
I don't really have a problem with create food, except when it involves those annoying people who sacrifice it.
