Beneath the Western Ramparts
You stand beneath the towering gate of the western wall of Miruvhor.
Twin stairs climb to either side of the gateway, allowing soldiers to mount
the walls in times of siege. Narrow arrow slits pierce the wall here,
turning the open area here into a murderous killing ground. From the
south comes the brash braying of mules and high whinnying of horses,
punctuated occasionally with the deep roar of some unknown beast.

incoming and outgoing wagons. All around you rise great buildings of
red brick that house the rich citizens of Miruvhor. Eastward the road
passes through an archway between the buildings. On the other side
is an impressive open air plaza, filled with people.

The plaza here is choked with crowds hurrying eastwards into the heart
of Miruvhor. Wagons rattle by at high speed, headed towards the docks to
the east. The crimes and wrong-doings of the past have been eradicated,
and Order has taken its place. The western edge of the plaza is lined with
grand buildings of red brick. Once providing space for various warehouses,
casinos, taverns, and brothels, they have since been transformed into
luxurious mansions for the rich nobles of Miruvhor.
