Anyone know how to use the in game editor to format it? Like, description format works, but history format tells you its not a valid command...
History Format?
`> .h
Sedit help (commands on blank line):
.r 'old' 'new' - replace a substring
(requires '', "")
.rl - replaces a line
.h - get help (this info)
.s - show string so far
.f - (word wrap) string
.c - clear string so far
.d - deletes a line
.i {text} - inserts a line
./ - do a regular command
@ - end string`
This will also preserve paragraph spaces.
You will need to be in the editor, too. History edit, description edit, note edit, journal edit, etc.
You just enter .f in the edit prompt
I believe "history format history" or "history history format" does it. I can't recall which exactly if you're not in the editor itself, but the same can be done for your "purpose" and "personality" in place of the second "history" input.
.f
Definitely use the editor. [History show] to proof read out side of the editor before you submit.
Trust @Kassieti for all editing advice. Also, if it is too long, [.d] the line numbers of blank lines after [.f] formatting.
How long is too long? Asking for a friend.
It legit has a hard cap on lines.
So if you havent hit that yet, keep the words flowing!
Should be 75 lines.

Someone stated this format years ago to help prevent them from going over that cap, and although I still format mine after the fact, sometimes just using that is better formatting than the actual format itself. But yes, 75 characters per line is it. The above is 70 though.
I hit the hard cap for histories a lot of the time, and then just use what's leftover as information for a journal. It does not always work out pretty and going back and editing out things that could be expanded upon to make an interesting journal is some work.
But I'd just write what you want for length, then if it's too long go back edit it down a bit and use the rest of it in notes or journals.
