Just curious what with the different colored pk flags. I remember only 2 before red and grey (for heralds) but now I see yellow, red and violet. Thanks.

Hey buddy. Help Ruthless, Help Moderate and Help Hardcore for some details.
Gray for Heralds is still the same.
Yellow is now a Ruthless character. They have 61 lives, this is the oldest PK flag, and it hasn't really changed.
Red means you are a Hardcore character. The help file will help explain this, but it means you get 20 lives instead of 61. In trading away 2/3 of your lives, you train much faster, and you generate more CPs in your cabal.
Blue (Which I assume you mean by violet, different clients thing I'm sure) Is a Moderate tier PK. This gives you 61 lives, you can't be looted of your non-rare EQ, and you can't be multikilled by the same enemy unless you attack him. Help Moderate will also explain this in game.
