Similar to Kyz, I never had this issue. I've played a number of faerie invokers, and none had any trouble maintaining a full set of eq, a few pieces to swap out if I needed saves instead of AC/hp, bags full of consumables and a secondary weapon setup of a dagger+charged stave (this can be handy against enemies capable of disarming or destroying your weapons).
