Mob body parts

For whatever reason I need guts from a specific mob. For the life of me I am having a huge problem with it, is there a command or specific trick to getting a specific bodypart?

Did the bowyer send you to get those?

You likely have the wrong mob. The correct one will ALWAYS give you the required parts.

Yeah, best I can tell you is look for something that is a weird looking cross of things.

You can even get said item from said mob before said quest is given.  With the knowledge of what you need, you need only one trip.

So many quests... so little knowledge... haha.

Most all of them drop good hints though. Some you need a little push with.

My problem was that my first time killing said mob it dropped it's guts, I ran to place I needed to be but he was sleeping. Before he woke up my guts disintegrated and I was convinced that I need to get the guts from said mob.

This made me spend several fruitless hours farming for guts that never appeared again. As soon as Anume said what she said I knew what I needed to do next and completed quest right away. 

My personal problem with quests is if I take the wrong path I'm usually too dogged to try a different path and convince myself I just need to keep at it.
