So I started playin one of my old characters, obvious. What im wondering is what are some good ideas to start getting back to where you were. Should I just continue like I was, or should I act like he has amnesia or what? any and all advice welcome.

Amnesia is possible, if he was hit over the head. What happened to your guy? Why was he gone so long? Try to find a story that fits him and then stick to the consequences.
